Never Forget/Brooklyn Takeover

Never Forget/Brooklyn Takeover

As America remembers those that lost their lives in the tragic events of 9/11, we here at Sole Muzic would like to send our prayers and condolences out to families directly affected as well as the nation.  United We Stand.  On this day, two of New York’s native sons dropped the same day as the towers. Fabolous released his debut “Ghetto Fabolous” that included features and production from Nate Dogg, Pharrell and Timbaland just to name a few.  Thirteen years ago today, Jay-Z also released “The Blueprint”, the first in what would be a three part series. It is this album  along with Jay’s debut “Reasonable Doubt” that solidified him in the minds of many as one of the greats. The Blueprint  introduced us to the soulful productions of a young Kanye West along with another emerging producer by the name of Just Blaze. As we go about our busy lives take time out today and reflect on this significant moment in history. Although the tragedies of that day are embedded in the psyche of many, I ask that we continue to celebrate the lives of lost loved ones as the country continues to rebuild emotionally.  Let us continue to move forward as a nation but never forget or take for granted the freedoms that this country affords us. Peace.
